How would the novel be different if it included female characters?

     I think the story would be different if it had female characters because they wouldn't be as lonely as in the girls would comfort the boys because they would remind them of their mothers. Also the girls would probably keep the guys from going so savage because maybe they would feel more civilized. Also with the females there they may also want to keep the fire going then go hunting for pigs all the time and maybe then in the book they would have been rescued quicker.
