The character I believe deserves no blame is Hedvig. She is so innocent and loves her father so much. Gregers I feel has much to blame because he wants Hedvig to sacrifice the wild duck for her dad. The problems that Gregers actually says, “gave up the dearest thing you own and know in the whole world” (198). This quote is going to lead I feel like to multiple problems down the road. I feel like either Hedvig is going to take it the wrong way or Gregers is up to something. Why I think Gregers is up to something because he believes in absolute truth in a marriage. If Hedvig sacrifices something most dear to her Gregers will get what he is shooting for truth between Hjalmer and Gina.
